Teen Counseling in Bellevue

At Eastside Center for Healing, we provide therapy for teens and adolescents who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, or relational challenges. Our team specializes in working with young people who are navigating anxiety, depression, peer conflict, family stress, or substance use.

We offer a supportive space for teens to gain insight, feel heard, and build coping strategies that support long-term emotional health.

What to Expect in Teen Therapy

We begin with a thoughtful intake process that includes both the teen and caregiver(s). Together, we identify goals, concerns, and the best therapeutic approach for your teen’s needs.

Our therapists create a safe, confidential space for teens to:

  • Process emotions

  • Develop healthy boundaries

  • Improve communication

  • Explore identity and autonomy

  • Build distress tolerance and emotional regulation

We use a combination of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, expressive arts, and narrative therapy.

When Should Teens Begin Therapy?

Families often seek help when teens are experiencing:

  • Social withdrawal

  • Mood swings or irritability

  • Academic pressure or school avoidance

  • Anxiety or panic

  • Family conflict

  • Risk-taking or substance use

  • Identity or gender-related stress

These challenges are often signs that your teen needs support. Early intervention can help them build skills to move through these transitions with confidence and clarity.
